Gold, gifts, and power-ups

What the coins are for, what a first clear pays, and what the end-of-campaign gift contains.

Gold in Tile Tree is a play currency. A new install starts with 500. The first time you clear a level in a campaign, that clear pays 25 gold. Clearing it again in the same campaign does not pay another 25. A new campaign after the gift pays first clears again, because level progress was reset.

Power-ups cost 120 gold each in the shop: Hint, Shuffle, Undo, and Hammer. You begin with three of every one, so the opening worlds can be learned before the shop matters.

Two optional ads sit beside the gold:

Ads that you did not ask for are the other kind. A banner can sit on the main menu, the level map, and settings. It is hidden during a level and on the clear screen. Pressing Next after a win can show a full-screen ad, but only on every third clear of a level numbered 4 or higher. Leaving for the menu from pause, or from the level-complete screen, can show one too, once at least 3 levels are cleared and 90 seconds have passed since the last full-screen ad. Home from the lose screen skips that break.

Finish all 105 levels and a gift is ready, as well as the 25 gold if that last clear is the first one: 300 gold and two extra of each power-up. Claiming it sends you to the menu. The next Play starts a new campaign from level 1, keeps the gold and power-ups you already hold, and lets you earn the gift again by clearing 105 once more.

Nothing here is purchased with real money inside the current game. Gold cannot be transferred, traded, or turned into cash. If a future version adds a shop that takes payment, this journal and the terms will say so before that shop opens.
